Pregnancy and obstetrics
Clinics in Germany and Switzerland, which form the backbone of our maternity programme, have an exceptional reputation for high safety-standards and a sensitive, personalised, approach to childbirth.
All of the clinics we use ensure mothers-to-be have a full choice of birthing options, from traditional through to more alternative methods, using aromatherapy and homeopathy for pain relief.
Our maternity packages are consultant-led employing a team of specialists including gynaecologists, obstetricians, anesthesiologists, pediatricians and other experts.
Prenatal monitoring and scans are provided, along with a stay in the hospital, usually for 5-7 days after a natural delivery and about 10-12 days after a caesarean section.
All of clinics we work with have on-site neonatal intensive care units, in case of a premature birth. So that mother and child have the opportunity to be in close proximity to each other.
While staying in the German and Swiss clinics, expectant mothers receive well-balanced nutrition, with diets specifically designed so that their recovery from childbirth is as smooth as possible.
Medical examination of the newborn and postpartum examinations and home visits by a nurse are included.
Under the supervision of qualified nurses, new mothers will quickly master feeding and bathing the baby and will learn baby massage techniques, to soothe the baby and optimise bonding.
Pediatrics
